Final Post

I actually liked college comp a lot more then I thought I would have. In the past, I never really liked english classes because I had no desire in writing. This year in composition, I changed the way I feel about writing. I've learned that the overall writing process and development of stories is a lot harder then I first anticipated. Whenever we got the new assignment for the projects I always worried a little. But paying attention to discussions in class and listening to what Dr. Morris had to say made it so much easier to complete the challenges that each project brought forth. There were many things that I enjoyed about this class. One was the freedom we were given with each of the projects. I loved how we could use our creativity to produce projects that showed what we were capable of, instead of just writing papers. I also really liked the theme of this course. Having such an interesting topic about comedy made even the hardest things to write about seem enjoyable. The blog posts and short assignments were useful in this class because we all got to see each-other's points of views and how we were each going to be tackling challenges that we came across. There was not anything that I disliked about the class because we were doing something different each day, it wasn't the same repetitive thing over and over again. I learned a lot about my own writing and how to better it, as well as how to add humor elements to it.

  1. I feel like a lot of people have learned how to better their writing skills. I know I did, and it made things easier writing papers not only for this class but for other classes too.

  2. I feel like not a lot of people don't have a motivation to write either but in this class, it was a topic usually that we could relate to.
